Venues

A venue is a perpetual-futures exchange that Verus can route to. Verus does not ask you to pick one. It compares the full cost of your trade across the eligible venues and routes to the cheapest. See Best execution.

Verus routes across two kinds of venue. Most are central limit order books (CLOBs), which are usually the most liquid markets. Verus also routes to on-chain perps, which price against an oracle and a liquidity pool rather than a book. Including both means a wider set of markets (including some real-world assets) and more chances to find the cheapest fill.

Supported today

HyperliquidHyperliquid

A high-performance perps venue with deep liquidity across major markets.

LighterLighter

A zk-based perps venue with low fees.

OrderlyOrderly

An on-chain order book venue. Verus handles vault deposit mechanics for you.

GMXGMX

An on-chain perp on Arbitrum that prices against an oracle and a liquidity pool. Verus handles the on-chain execution for you.

OstiumOstium

An on-chain perp on Arbitrum focused on real-world assets (such as forex and commodities) alongside crypto, settled against a vault.

Pricing, available markets, and minimums differ per venue. Verus accounts for these differences automatically when it routes, and shows the relevant details in the app.
