Venues

A venue is a perpetual-futures exchange that Verus can route to. Verus does not ask you to pick one. It compares the full cost of your trade across the eligible venues and routes to the cheapest. See Best execution.

All current venues are central limit order books (CLOBs). Order books are usually the most liquid markets, which is why Verus includes them rather than limiting routing to pool-based venues.

A high-performance perps venue with deep liquidity across major markets.

Lighter

A zk-based perps venue with low fees.

Orderly

An on-chain order book venue. Verus handles vault deposit mechanics for you.

Pricing, available markets, and minimums differ per venue. Verus accounts for these differences automatically when it routes, and shows the relevant details in the app.
