Welcome to Verus
There are 100+ perp DEXs live today. Each one has different trading fees, liquidity, funding rates, deposit and withdrawal costs, speeds, and specializations. The result is massive fragmentation: the best place to put on a given trade changes constantly, and no human can track it across every venue.
Verus fixes that. You enter the position you want, for example long 1 BTC at 10x leverage, and Verus automatically routes the trade to the venue that gives you the lowest all-in cost. Your funds stay in a wallet that only you control.
In traditional finance, “best execution” is a legal duty: brokers must seek the most favorable terms reasonably available for a customer’s trade. Nothing like it exists in DeFi. Best execution for perps is exactly what Verus v1 delivers.
What makes Verus different
- Best execution, automatically. You pick the position, not the venue. Verus models the full cost of the trade on each venue and routes to the cheapest one.
- Real venues, including order books. Verus routes across Hyperliquid, Lighter, and Orderly, all central limit order books (CLOBs), which are usually the most liquid markets. It is not limited to pool-based venues.
- Zero fees in v1. Verus charges no fee in v1. See the FAQ for what comes later.
- Non-custodial. Verus never takes custody. An embedded wallet is created for you at signup, and only you can authorize it.
- Isolated margin. Only the collateral for a trade is sent to the venue, so a loss on one position cannot reach the rest of your funds.
